We want delivery cycles to be as quick as possible, to make design and development decisions in response to the actual content, and to have lots of flexibility to keep optimizing and changing post-launch. That’s why we built Octana.
The Octana Story
Octana was created in 2020 through engagement with customers of Apolinar, a leading digital agency. The Apolinar team created Octana to help its customers build highly scalable websites on Contentful in a resource-efficient and predictable manner.
Octana continued to iterate as a product with multiple new integrations, use cases and customers. With venture funding from Hillfarrance, the team successfully formed a standalone business dedicated solely to Octana.
In 2023 Octana opened an office in Denver, Colorado, to support the ongoing partnership with Contentful and USA expansion. The Octana Contentful app was published in the Contentful Marketplace.
